As a complementary therapist I have seen huge improvements to my health (and that of others) over the last ten years through the use of natural remedies. However, like so many people, I still do not feel strong, vital and well . .. WELL!! It often seems like hard work - like putting sticking plasters over the cracks. What is causing the cracks in the first place?
I am incredibly interested in what it is to be healthy. Again and again I come back to diet and how synthetic, lacking in nutrients and nourishment our modern food is. Macrobiotics offers a way of eating which goes back to a simple holistic diet, based on sound dietary and energetic principles. I have dabbled with it over the past few months and seen impressive changes. So this is me going deeper - and I invite you along! I'm not trained in macrobiotics; I am doing this as a lay person. I want to see if I can strengthen my body, increase my vitality and wellbeing and generally enjoy a much better level of health. With warm regards,

In terms of dogs - I don't know about that. My interest here is humans, so maybe you need to take up that query with the people making it?
You ask am I surprised I am tired in the evening? I am not sure what you mean. Maybe you have only read this blog? So, to clarify: this is a journey I am on to try and find a better way to health and I am really pleased to have advice and comments and support along the way, hence the blog. I ain't claiming to have the answers! I was chronically tired before I started looking into diet. This has improved dramatically since doing so. In the last two weeks I have begun to follow a macrobiotic diet and have felt this improve again. Believe me, being tired in the evening is nothign compared to how I was!
Thanks for your comments.
Best wishes,
